This was the construction of a new £37.5 million education and leisure centre complex in Littleport, Cambridgeshire. The project for Cambridgeshire County Council is already underway and will include the construction of an early years school, a primary school, a three-storey secondary school, a special needs school, and a community leisure facility.
The four form entry secondary school, Littleport Academy, will initially cater for 600 pupils aged 11 to 16, with the potential to accommodate 750 pupils in the future.
Fourways Plant was hired by the principal contractor throughout the entire construction process which incorporated handrails, access towers, hoists and birdcages.
