St Mary Magdelene Church dates back to 1881 in an area, which, for centuries, was part of royalty’s Enfield Chase hunting grounds. Now, as well as a centre of worship, the church is a focal point for the community and its facilities are used throughout the week by a wide variety of groups and associations.
Due to wear and tear on the adjoining hall roof, Fourways was instructed to scaffold the exterior in order to allow access to the tower, lead flashing and cross for repair works.
