NASC
Fourways Plant Ltd has been a proud full member of National Access and Scaffolding Confederation (NASC – http://www.nasc.org.uk/) for many years and always abide by their strict regulations of membership which includes a biyearly audit. Membership of the NASC is the highest accolade for every scaffolding company. We always follow their Code of Practice attend regular meetings and adhere to the stringent health and safety regulations.
FORS
Our most recent accreditation has been with Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS – https://www.fors-online.org.uk/cms/). FORS is a voluntary scheme encompassing all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations. FORS helps fleet operators to measure and monitor performance and alter their operations in order to demonstrate best practice. Fourways Plant Ltd recently became a bronze member of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) and it is our intention to maintain this accreditation with the view to always improve.
CISRS
All of our scaffolders are members of Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS – http://cisrs.org.uk/) an industry recognised scaffolding training scheme. It is the preferred scaffolding qualification of all the major organisations including CSCS, NASC, HSE, Build UK, UNITE, UCATT and the largest scaffold systems manufacturers.
CPA
Fourways Plant Ltd are subscribed to Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA – http://www.cpa.uk.net/) relating to health and safety for employees and plant machinery, employee health and safety, Machinery Standards, emissions control, public safety and road transport Skills and employment.
CHAS
Fourways Plant Ltd are members of The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS – http://www.chas.co.uk/). CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is available to suppliers (those who provide goods and services) and to organisations (buyers) looking for suitably competent suppliers.
Constructionline
We are also members of Constructionline (http://www.constructionline.co.uk/static/). Constructionline is the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service that collects, assesses and monitors standard company information.
SSIP
Fourways Plant Ltd is also a proud member of Safety Scheme in Procurement (SSIP – http://www.ssip.org.uk/). SSIP is actively reducing health and safety assessment costs and bureaucracy in the supply chain, by making cross-recognition between member schemes as effective as possible, and highlighting the savings to buyers and suppliers. SSIP member schemes have fully committed to the vision of driving unnecessary cost and confusion out of supplier health and safety assessment, and SSIP’s core philosophy is to enable effective cross-recognition between existing schemes.
